• Haircut for men: €3
• Haircut for ladies: €5
• A pint of beer or a glass of wine: €1
• Broadband internet access: €10 per month (but avoid dial-up, which can be very expensive)
• A top-rated film on DVD: €5
• Water for a 2-bedroom property: €10 per month
• Electricity for a 2-bedroom property: April-October €10 per month and November-March €40 per month
• Annual Property Tax (Council Tax) for a 2-bedroom country house: €3 per month
• A cleaner or handyman: €1.5 per hour
