Testimonials from Some of Our Clients

Following a very enjoyable visit to Marina Cape, I decided to purchase an apartment for myself. After exploring a number of avenues, I discovered Apple Tree Properties on the internet.

I contacted Jacqui and Andy and explained my requirements (i.e. price limit, location etc.). They were extremely helpful, very accommodating and at no time pushy or aggressive.

Buying my apartment through Apple Tree Properties was a very pleasant experience and I would recommend Jacqui and Andy to anyone considering purchasing property in Bulgaria.

From a very satisfied customer.

Jacqui and Andy are a couple of nice, ordinary people who obviously enjoy their life in Bulgaria. If you ever ask them "Would you go back to England" they will laugh and say "No chance". I have bought two apartments from them now, one which was almost completed when I bought it, and one which was 'off plan'. Both times, Andy and Jacqui have been very helpful. It's been good to deal with English estate agents because they are able to explain things. Jacqui will tell you that I have dragged her away from her evening TV sessions several times, so that she can explain some document that the builders have sent to me. She never complains.

Many of us find the idea of buying a place in another country very appealing, especially when so many places seem so cheap in comparison with home. But you know, when one decides to buy a property abroad, one of the first things to consider is the authenticity of the advertising and the genuineness of the organisation that you choose to help you. You might consider going it alone, but that means you will find yourself confused and stressed with the different laws and regulations that apply abroad. I decided to buy in Bulgaria, a country I had not been to at the time, but had heard so much about from friends and colleagues, some of whom were Bulgarian. Bulgaria is a diverse country: culturally, geographically, historically, socially and in many other ways that make it interesting, exciting and attractive. It is also really very cheap to eat, travel, shop and entertain yourself in. I found this out for myself when I went there for a long weekend recently.

I am reasonably experienced in buying property abroad. I have a few apartments in different countries- Malaysia, Bulgaria and Egypt. I speak English as my native tongue. If you are buying abroad you will need to know all the laws and regulations (which you will not know) and you will need to be able to communicate successfully with the people you deal with in the transaction (which you will not be able to do). Not unless you have reliable and trustworthy friends or contacts, who know what needs to be known and speak the language OR you use a reliable and trustworthy organisation. There is such an organisation in Bulgaria. You can trust them as you would a trusted friend- they are Apple Tree Properties.

I'm not normally in the habit of endorsing companies or products because to be honest, I expect things to work and to work properly. But sometimes, a company looks after you extraordinarily well. Jacqui and Andy are a British couple who moved to Bulgaria to follow their dream. They are educated, skilled and competent. They know all that needs to be known about helping you buy your ideal property in Bulgaria. As if that was not enough, they are nice. They are normal, down-to-earth people that are friendly and chatty and make you feel at ease and confident in the service they provide. They also go out of their way to facilitate you, they show you the good sides and the not so good sides of Bulgaria, which helps to keep you grounded and realistic about what you are doing. They do not pull any punches and they tell it as it is.

I cannot speak highly enough of them. And I will put my money where my mouth is- I will happily chat to anyone who wishes to speak to me, either by phone or via email, to tell you MY experiences. Jacqui and Andy - I wish you both the very best always, truly you both deserve it.

If you are looking to buy a property in Bulgaria, we would just like to let everyone know that Apple Tree Properties are great!

They worked very hard for us. We ran into a few problems along the buying process because the banks stopped lending money for holiday home mortgages. Apple Tree Properties resolved the problems every time.

Our apartment is being finalized now thanks to Apple Tree Properties.

I've just got back from Bulgaria and I am really impressed by Andy and Jacqui. Looking at houses was never one of my favourite pastimes but they made it seem like fun. From the moment Sue and I stepped off the plane, Andy and Jacqui looked after us and made us feel right at home.

We're buying a holiday home near Burgas and Andy and Jacqui will be welcome to come round for a beer (sorry, Jacqui - red wine for you) any time we are over in BG. We are even thinking about buying an apartment too and guess which agents we will use!
