Evksinograd is a grand royal palace located close to Varna city. The building is situated in a beautiful park which has many rare and exotic plants. The palace was originally a summer residence for Knyaz Alexander of Battenberg. Subsequently, it was used by Tsars Ferdinand and Boris III. Today the palace is a government building. The construction of the palace, which started in 1886, was accomplished with the help of the Viennese architect Rumpelmeyer, the Swiss architect H. Meyer and architect N. Lazarov.
