Evksinograd is a grand royal palace located close to Varna city. The building is situated in a beautiful park which has many rare and exotic plants. The palace was originally a summer residence for Knyaz Alexander of Battenberg. Subsequently, it was used by Tsars Ferdinand and Boris III. Today the palace is a government building.
The construction of the palace, which started in 1886, was accomplished with the help of the Viennese architect Rumpelmeyer, the Swiss architect H. Meyer and architect N. Lazarov. The architectural design is reminiscent of French 18th century palaces.
